Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the quality of life for seniors.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain state-required certifications (training provided).
