Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes, symptoms, or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands as needed.
- Administer medication and document care logs accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
