Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records and digital charting
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Order inventory and maintain supply organization
- Take impressions for crowns and bridges
Qualifications
- Dental assisting certification (DALEDA/CDA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital imaging software
- Strong patient communication skills
- Kentucky dental radiography permit
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
