Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the supervising nurse or family members promptly.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Administer medication according to physician orders and maintain accurate medication logs.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and vacuuming, to ensure a safe living environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification preferred, but we accept candidates willing to obtain certification.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a genuine, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
