Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication at the correct times.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing in the client's home.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, or social events using personal vehicle.
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in client behavior or health to the supervisor.
- Respond to client calls and emergencies promptly and calmly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Current valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if no experience).
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
