Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing their quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
- Document daily care activities and maintain accurate records in the patient's file.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or the healthcare field is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, caring demeanor.
