Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes, concerns, or emergencies to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
