Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversation to alleviate loneliness.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, client-appropriate meals.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health to the supervisor.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required.
- License: Current state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- First Aid/CPR: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
