Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals that meet specific dietary requirements and preferences.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Medication Reminders: Gently remind clients to take their prescribed medications on time.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or run errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
