Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in physical or mental condition to our nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients from bed to chair or wheelchair.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA, CMA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not required for paid training candidates.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a compassionate demeanor.
