Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Administer medication and remind clients to take their prescriptions on time.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the nursing team.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
