Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Assist clients with mobility, bathing, and personal hygiene
- Engage in meaningful companionship and recreational activities
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family members
- Adhere to HIPAA and agency safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Pass background check and TB screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual a plus)
