Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and remind clients of their daily schedules and appointments.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is a plus but not mandatory.
