Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer prescribed medications accurately
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to care team
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Maintain detailed care notes and documentation
- Follow client-specific care plans rigorously
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Knowledge of senior care best practices
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
