Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily health logs.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and light cleaning to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA, PCA, or HHA certification is a plus but not required for all positions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist clients as needed.
