Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer medications as per care plans
- Monitor client health status and report changes
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate and patient personality
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Willingness to obtain required certifications
- No prior caregiving experience necessary
