Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide non-medical personal care, such as assistance with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social outings.
- Document daily activities and changes in patient condition accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Clean criminal background check required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
