Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and document health changes accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer medications as per care plans and state regulations
- Engage clients in meaningful companionship and cognitive stimulation
- Maintain clean, safe home environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic
- Strong communication skills for client/family interactions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
