Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and administer prescribed medications as directed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care logs and report changes in client condition
- Implement customized care plans developed by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure safe living environments
Qualifications
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience with elderly clients
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with clients
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
