Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and mobility
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Implement personalized care plans and document progress
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating home environment
- Communicate effectively with family members and care team
Qualifications
- Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
- Empathetic, patient, and detail-oriented personality
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
