Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, tidying, meal prep)
- Maintain accurate care documentation using our digital system
- Administer prescribed medications per training protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience (or equivalent training)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate demeanor with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation for client visits
