Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas with provided advanced dental equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures using digital imaging systems
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs using modern X-ray technology
- Maintain patient records using our digital practice management software
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient education
- Order and inventory clinical supplies
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization standards
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided advanced equipment
- Valid North Carolina dental assistant permit
