Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and laundry services
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain accurate care notes and client records
- Report changes in client condition to care coordinator
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach and patience with elderly/disabled clients
