Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately record medical histories and vital signs in EMR systems
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room inventory
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals
- Process insurance claims and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification from accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and eClinicalWorks systems
- BLS certification with current renewal
- Spanish bilingual proficiency required
- Knowledge of Texas medical regulations and protocols
- Exceptional patient communication and multitasking abilities
