Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and electronic health records
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a busy healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification maintained
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Austin-based candidates only (no remote work)
- Spanish bilingual skills highly preferred
