Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain electronic health records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
