Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms with sterile instruments and supplies
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for optimal efficiency
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth)
- BLS/CPR certification maintained
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Spanish fluency preferred
