Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and vital signs in EHR systems
- Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, and wound care
- Manage inventory and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications with professionalism
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and clinic protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Current CPR/BLS certification
