Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and administer injections/medications
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong patient communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environment
