Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurement and medical history documentation
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and diagnostic testing (EKG, injections, wound care)
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and manage administrative tasks
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by providers
- Provide patient education on preventive care and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) and Minnesota state registration
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred
