Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs assessments and patient intake documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Coordinate patient education materials and follow-up care
- Handle lab specimen processing and basic lab procedures
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (CMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Exceptional patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume environment
