Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure resident safety
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Support nurses with clinical tasks and medication administration under supervision
- Foster positive relationships with residents and family members
- Participate in care planning meetings and team collaboration
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate approach with geriatric population
