Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement patient care plans and update medical records.
- Transport patients safely to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with health standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Ohio CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an accredited provider.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred.
