Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and range-of-motion exercises
- Support nurses with medication administration under supervision
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current California CNA certification or enrollment in state-approved training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (will provide training)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Empathetic communication style and patience with diverse populations
