Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rates.
- Support nurses and physicians during medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
