Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Provide support during meals and ensure proper nutrition
- Assist with medical equipment and patient positioning
- Document patient care accurately and report changes in condition
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care plans
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
