Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual patient needs.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
- Document patient care activities and progress notes in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
- Reliable transportation to various patient locations within the Albuquerque metro area.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
