Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and patient mobility (transferring patients).
- Administer medication as prescribed and documented accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required for the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
