Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation safely.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurses.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients' families regarding patient status.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Colorado State CNA License required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
