Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any changes to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Provide basic nursing care and support as directed by the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary, adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and interactions accurately in medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate attitude and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
