Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic CNA to provide high-quality care to our patients in Dallas. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for those in our care while advancing your career in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking, transfers to wheelchairs, and positioning.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient conditions, and completed tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical, hospital, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients of various sizes.
- Compassionate nature with a strong focus on patient dignity and comfort.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
