Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Medication Assistance: Support patients with medication reminders and ensure proper documentation of administered treatments.
- Communication: Serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient status and needs.
- Mobility Support: Assist patients with transferring and ambulation using proper body mechanics to ensure safety for both the patient and staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and logs in accordance with facility protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid CNA License in the state of Nevada.
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
