Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Document patient care plans, updates, and incidents accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (State of Arizona required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
