Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and patients to report changes in condition or concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with facility protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses under strict supervision.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required by the job.
- Passion for helping others and a commitment to professional excellence.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
