Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health status accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support residents with daily activities and maintain a safe living environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Report any changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Must pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid California driver's license preferred
