Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transfers, and ambulation safely.
- Administer medications and document care plans in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient calls and assist with emergency situations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the District of Columbia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for high-potential candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Clean background check and drug screen are required for employment.
