Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatments as directed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times, including fall prevention.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active Texas CNA License required.
- CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from an accredited provider.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
