Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks (vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy)
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle phone triage
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and sterile protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification not required but willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic setting
- Basic computer proficiency (EHR systems preferred)
- Valid CPR certification (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
