Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms and equipment for hygiene and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (or willingness to obtain via training).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
