Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately in resident charts
- Support dining services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current North CNA certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature and patience with elderly population
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid North Carolina driver's license preferred
